Last year, the team at Marty Lowe Inc Design were tasked with designing a yacht interior that would be world-class–the best of the best. The project was for the Alchemist TOO, a 122-foot Sanlorenzo motoryacht that was, up to that point, the largest custom motoryacht being created by Sanlorenzo for the Americas.
Not only did Marty Lowe deliver a design that exceeded the highest expectations of Alchemist TOO‘s owner, but it also garnered world-wide attention from the yachting and design community.
Alchemist TOO is is a finalist in the 2014 ShowBoats Design Awards, which is being held February 24th in Austria. Alchemist TOO is one of seven finalist for the Interior Design Award in the Semi-displacement Motor Yachts category.
Working hand-in-hand with the design team at Sanlorenzo, Marty Lowe and the rest of her team planned every inch of this yacht to ensure that the interior design matched the bespoke fit and finish that Sanlorenzo is known for.
Canaletto chestnut was the material chosen for the interior flooring, setting the tone for the modern, yet comfortable interior. Alternate whitened oak to white lacquered parts furnishings complement the rest of the décor by Minotti, a made-in-Italy interior design specifically commissioned by the owner.
Crema Luna marble was used in the bathrooms for a clean and elegant look. In the kitchen, Tabacco Brown marble was chosen for a rich and modern feel.
The beauty of this yacht is almost too much for words. Luckily, you’ll be able to see the Alchemist TOO in all of its splendor at the upcoming 2014 Miami International Boat Show.
